The Stunning Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road is a gorgeous, 151-mile coastline along the Southern Ocean and Bass Strait, the body of water between Southern Australia and Tasmania. The best way to experience the Great Ocean Road is by driving yourself, that way you can spend as long as you want at each overlook and beach along the way. I was in awe of the limestone cliff formations and bright blue water, below are some of my favorite stops to make.
Bay of Islands
The Grotto
The Twelve Apostles
Kennett River Road
Kennett River Road is a small road in the town Apollo Bay where koalas live along the Great Ocean Road. Seeing them hugging the trees and sleeping was a highlight of my trip to Australia, they're just so cute!
